Has there been an individual who did not feel the agony of suffering from rejections and accusations of those he tried to reform?
Challenges are part of life. Rejections and Accusations are standard. However, facing them and leading people out of such situations is not only human but Prophetic. All Prophets did that. History cannot preserve the specific steps that each of the prophets took; however, it provides a detailed account of one Prophet, who not only overcame such challenges but also guided his followers to apply them in all times and situations.
He is Muhammad, the Prophet through whom God eternalized his message, and whose life serves as an example for all.
He had conviction in his divinely given belief system. Likewise, he was courageous. Furthermore, he assembled a team of like-minded individuals to tackle the challenges collectively.

Enthusiastic Muslims, in their efforts to describe the uniqueness of Islam, claim that the Prophet Muhammad founded Islam. The Prophet Muhammad made no such claims. He did not say that he is the first one to discover monotheism. Nor did he say that he is the source of all virtues.
He convinced the people living in the Arabian Peninsula that without accepting the oneness of God, they would be at the mercy of humans who would claim the status of God.
He made them believe that a moral and virtuous life is livable, and to prove this, he offered his life as an example.
Furthermore, he assembled a team that believed in consultation, mutual understanding, and helping one another without letting anyone fall behind.

Likewise, he taught his people about human dignity, love of labor, serving others, and facing challenges fearlessly and collectively.
He made his people realize that controlling one's anger and forgiving others are the greatest virtues.
He taught respect for elders and kindness to the young.
Not only that, but he also encouraged people to respect themselves by being disciplined and organized.
He called upon them to be self-sufficient and financially stable.
He inspired them to show how to lift the weak, the neglected, and the downtrodden.
Furthermore, he taught that human life is sacred and violence is not the will of God.

He abolished slavery and the discrimination against women and people of different ethnic and racial backgrounds.
He invited people to establish a peaceful family, a peaceful neighborhood, and a peaceful state.
Not only that, but he established the sovereignty of law and the primacy of a law-governed society.
Above all, he is the only messenger of God who ensured that the divine message is put into written words in his lifetime.
Thus, he is unique among all Prophets and the dearest in the eyes of God.
It is through the preserved divine message and the exemplary life he led that Muslims evaluate their lives. It is through their lives to God and his messenger that they express their gratitude to the Creator.
